Our client is a leading global public relations consultancy firm.
They seek to hire an experienced and dynamic individual to fill in the role of Account Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibility for maintaining high client satisfaction levels and client revenue growth by increasing client spend on social media
Responsibility for driving teams to deliver highly effective social media campaigns to an ever higher standard
To identify new business opportunities for social media work, to create social media new business proposals and attend new business pitches
To participate in marketing of the firm in order to attract new business leads for social media work
To line manage and inspire account teams to always deliver more for their clients and for the firm
Skills and Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication/PR or any related field of study
Atleast 5 – 7 years industry experience
Experience of working in global PR consultancy or large independent Kenyan PR consultancy in a social media team
Experience of social media work with blue chip clients
Tourism and inward investment social media experience preferred but not essential
Experience of drafting social media sections of new business proposals and presenting at new business pitches
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Evidence of creative thinking
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent English writing skills
Strong client handling skills and proactive approach
Broad experience of social media platforms and application in corporate, stakeholder engagement, business to business and consumer facing campaigns
