This position will be responsible for safeguarding WOA’s finances and ensuring that it meets its financial obligations as when they fall due.
Key Responsibilities
Verify transactions in the ledger to ensure completeness and correct expenditures allocation.
Manage trade and non-trade payables to reduce financial risk for the organization.
Facilitate and ensure compliance with the statutory deductions and taxation i.e. WHT, VAT, PAYE to eliminate chances of unnecessary fines and penalties.
Conduct annual stock takes for WOA to update inventory registers.
Prepare management accounting reports and submit to management for decision making
Monitor and control the organization’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
Perform bank reconciliations for the bank accounts to ensure completeness and correctness of status
Required qualifications, skills and attributes:
CPA K or its equivalent
Knowledge in relevant accounting software
At least 3 years’ experience in accounting
