The project aims to increase the retention and transition of girls with disabilities in primary, secondary schools and vocational institutions in this region to increase their learning and improve their life chances. Girls with disabilities face multiple barriers to education including stigma around disability, isolation and abuse from family and community members, inaccessible environments and lack of rehabilitative support. This project will address physical and socio-economic barriers to education to ensure that more girls with disabilities access education and improve their learning in 50 primary schools and 25 secondary schools in the lake region, ultimately receiving a full, quality and inclusive education.
Working closely with the Finance and Administration Assistant, you will ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial operations including timely financial requisitions, verification, documentation and approval of project activities and supplier payments. You will support with all payments and ensure this is compliant with both organisational and legal requirements. There will also be duties with maintaining the finance system
and cycle among other administrative duties as stipulated in the job
description.
