Assistant Accountants – Mombasa – RTSGP

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all the accounting processes that includes; budgeting, cost control, collections, debtors, payroll etc.
Prepare, examine, analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting activities on the Tally system.
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.

Desired Education Background, Experience, Competencies and Skills;
A relevant University degree or Diploma.
Professional Post-Graduate training in Accounts.
Knowledge of computer systems and accounting packages is a must.
Excellent communication skills.
At least 3 years’ experience in a transport company or equivalent field.
