Finance Officer – The Girl Child Network (GCN)

Responsibilities:
Ensures that policies, systems and procedures that meet generally accepted accounting principles are established, complied with, and duly reviewed as necessary Prepares monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual project financial reports; prepare monthly cash and bank reconciliation as well as budget versus expenditure analysis. Development of proposal budget, maintaining financial records, management of cash imprest and support in development of management accounts.
Establish financial tracking and monitoring system for accounting of organization funds
Support in maintenance of organizational Asset Register and inventory record system. Desired

Qualification:
Bachelor Degree from a reputable university in a Business related field; Accounting/Finance
Professional qualifications minimum: CPA/ACCA – part 2[section IV), preferred CPA K
At least 5 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting related function in Non-Government Organization
Knowledge on management of payroll, taxes and other statutory requirements and regulations Must have knowledge of the management of payroll, taxes and other statutory requirements and regulations.
Ability to work extra hours and deliver results with minimal supervision
