Overall Job Performance: Reporting to head of finance, the senior accountant position exists to support effective management of financial resources and processes by overseeing the preparation of financial statements and reporting on the general performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of and Analyzing monthly & Annual financial reports,
Book keeping,
Recording Journal Entries into QuickBooks,
Maintenance of the Fixed Assets register & Depreciation Schedule,
Contracts negotiations & Reviewing contracts ,
Tax accounting & Advisory,
Reviewing payments & Petty cash,
Perform bank reconciliations,
Budgeting and Projections,
reviewing, administrative as well as financial controls,
Bank Agent,
Facilitating transactions with our banks,
handle tax Matters,
Filing Corporate returns,
Perform any other duty as requested by the Regional Finance Manager.
Requirement of the position:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
Certified Public Accountant CPA II
Job Experience:
The Job holder should have at least (3) years working experience in a dynamic set up with multiple services.
Must be highly competent in computer accounting packages.
