Group Marketing Manager – Nairobi – CMC Holdings Ltd

Key Accountabilities
1. Marketing Structure, Budget and Governance.
Create and establish a new Marketing Structure/strategy to support the growth and brand portfolio of CMC Motors Group (CMC Holdings Ltd).
Manage marketing budget, ensuring efficiency of spend.
Identify and make recommendation where activities can be synergized and consolidated at “CMC Motors Group” level to occur cost savings.
Create a marketing governance model that can oversee all individual brand / divisional marketing programs.

2. Advertising.
Develop CMC Motors group (consolidated) annual adverting plan.
Develop and deliver the advertising and promotional functions of the brand including; press advertising, Radio, DM, POS, OOH.

3. Digital / Online Marketing.
Manage the CMC website and all associated mini sites.
Create Digital Strategy in line with the Al-Futtaim Group.
Online Content development and updating.
Manage existing Social Media changes and create future Social Media strategy.

4. Events and Activations.
Manage Events and budgets (Motor show, launches etc…)
Develop and deliver launch activities for the brand.
Launch activities to be to consumers, media and internal sales personnel.

5. Branding and Brand Development.
Develop the CMC Motors Group as a brand in its own right.
Develop the CMC Motors Group brand architecture.
Create a consistent approach to branding across all channels.
Develop Brand guidelines.

6. Communication and PR.
Own all communications and PR to ensure consistent messaging across the group.
Provide marketing support to sales personnel to allow effective on brand communication to customers.

7. CRM and Customer Insights.
Work with the key internal stakeholders to identify areas of CRM process improvements; develop, implement and measure the outcomes of the new changes.
Ensuring alignment to Al-Futtaim Group CRM strategies.
Develop deep Customer Insights and reports.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge Experience & Key Competencies
University Degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Business Administration from a recognized Institution.
Professional Qualifications in Marketing.
An MBA will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 7 years’ marketing experience out of which a minimum 4 years should be at Managerial Level with proven performance record.
Thorough knowledge of Marketing, Automotive, Customer Service and CRM practices.
Experience in managing, consulting and coaching managers and staff in similar roles
Quality and results oriented person with sound analytical, decisiveness and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas and positions clearly.
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness, with the ability to establish and develop relationships in a multicultural environment.
Commercial and cultural awareness.
Initiative, creativity, attention to detail and ability to think strategically.
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
