Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, aggressive Manager of Sales and Business Development to help build and drive the company’s sales efforts in Kenya.

This individual will also help craft the sales and business development strategy for the Company’s other markets across Africa.

The individual will work as part of an exciting, results-oriented team of international colleagues.

The role is a rewarding and challenging position that will help enhance your professional capabilities in sales and marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with customers (Merchants, SMEs) and prospective customers in Nairobi
Makes telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers in Nairobi
Communicates the Company’s value proposition to existing and prospective customers
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Coordinates sales effort with management team in Kenya and the U.S.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends in the Kenya market

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in sales, marketing or business
8 or more of years relevant sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth aggressively by building targets, creating a sales plan and executing
Communication skills: ability to read, analyze and effectively present information to management

Compensation:The pay for this position is very competitive and is based on the individuals level of experience. The salary will also include a quarterly (every 3 month) performance-based bonus.
