Medical Marketer – Nairobi – Kenindia Assurance Company Limited

Main Purpose of the Job (Job Summary): Overall responsibility for medical marketing including formulation and implementation of strategy, business development and service delivery for Individual and corporate clients to achieve growth and profitability in line with the overall medical business strategy and objectives.

Main Responsibilities
Formulating and leading in the implementation of the medical department strategy, policies, processes and procedures to support the achievement of the overall business objectives
Developing and innovating new medical products to meet customer needs and expectation
Motivating, coaching, developing, training and mentoring the sales team to achieve set targets.
Driving business development and growth to achieve departmental production targets.
Recruiting, training and servicing Agents and Brokers to ensure steady business growth in the department.
To ensure that the agents and brokers doing business on behalf of the company are compliant with the regulator.
Organizing, participating and holding medical products exhibitions to inform the public of the company’s medical product and selling them.
Exploring new medical product markets and ensuring penetration aimed at achieving departmental strategic targets.
Generating quotation and analyzing them for the purpose of presenting the same to prospective clients
Preparing, monitoring and reporting of Medical Marketing budgetary allocations
Leading and managing medical marketing team on issues related to company communication
Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in medical marketing.
Ensuring customer service to both internal and external client by providing required information that is aimed towards customer satisfaction like Holding health talks, member education and service meetings
Managing and Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture for the department and company at large.
Preparing, analyzing and presenting tender documents for bidding aimed at business growth.
