Qualifications and Experience
A Business Related Degree (From a recognized university)
Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an advantage
Computing Knowledge (Excellent use of MS-Office Applications)
At least 1-3 years of progressive sales and marketing experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
Acquire new customers through a sales effort and champion the Customer Service Experience and delivery along the entire customer life cycle; from business development, relationship management right through to exit.
Duties:
To identify and pre-qualify potential customers in conjunction with sales & product development.
To create an understanding of the travel needs of the customer in a seamless manner; from when the customer conceives of the need to travel and supports the customer throughout the customer travel experience until their return.
To offer existing products & services portfolio of the company and where required adapt for purposes of achieving a competitive superiority and in conjunction with sales & product development.
To plan and execute a follow-up program to move the sale to the next level up to closure. To this end and where required develop and in conjunction with all stakeholders an offer proposal.
At the close of the sale, obtain formal approval from authorized persons from the customers’ organization(s) to supply services.
Obtain concurrence from authorized persons within the company to supply the customers the products and services as per the offer and also to manage customers’ expectations with regard to perceived performance of the company products and services.
To ensure the customer is welcomed to the company and develop rapport between the designated team and the customer contact resulting in the partaking of The company services..
Post account hand-over, continue to be a liaison point between the company Operations and Finance Teams as well as the customer throughout the customer life cycle.
To implement the customer churn management and retention plan in order to warn the organization on customer churn and put in place a retention plan to counter customer churn.
Identifying and attend client specific events with a view to establishing better rapport.
Market intelligence, market trends and competitor analysis to be shared internally with a view to gaining competitive advantage.
Proposal writing in response to Request for Proposals (RFP), Expression of Interests (EOI)/Bids, and Pre-Qualification of Suppliers’ Requests.
