Scope of Work and Deliverables/Outputs:
Lead the development of the campaign’s social media plan.
Identify social media opportunities for the campaign.
Together with the communications team, plan and implement the campaign’s events, campaigns and launches.
Oversee and develop social media content, ensuring social media assets are designed and delivered to a high standard and on time.
Define key performance indicators for social media, and measure and report on progress toward goals.
Communicate with industry professionals, brand ambassadors, experts and influencers to build and manage a strong social media network.
Monitor and analyse practices, trends and networks across media and social media to identify opportunities for strengthened engagement.
Position qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
A minimum of 3 years proven working experience in social media communications and digital marketing.
Experience of working on a campaign team.
Experience with online engagement and design and development of digital communications assets.
Excellent written English.
Personal attributes and competencies:
Understanding of several target audiences, stakeholders, and partners in Africa is an asset.
Creative and passionate about changing the world.
Motivation to learn and work in a new environment.
Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams of individuals and colleagues.
Language Requirements
Fluent English and Kiswahili is required.
