KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dealing and trading by placing buy and sell orders with market intermediaries subject to approval and actively maintaining these relationships;
Processing, recording and reconciling of transaction data;
Conducting research analysis on investments to feed into decision making;
Preparing investment valuation reports for review by CEO / Portfolio Manager for the purpose of client billing and performance evaluations;
Preparing and generating management information and statistics for review by Portfolio Manager/ Chief Executive/ Investment committee;
Monitoring client assets to ensure compliance with mandates;
Training of management trainees and interns on AAMC’s functionalities and delegation of work with respect to subordinate’s strengths, understanding and work needs.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Commerce, Statistics or an equivalent
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
High Integrity and honesty
Good interpersonal and communication & negotiation skills.
Highly numerate.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
CFA, CPA, ACCA would be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years’ relevant experience
