We are looking for Kiosk Operators (10) who have extensive skills in shop management (Including stock management), selling products, creating awareness, running promotions and managing sales agents (Commission based).
The kiosk operator will be paid ON COMMISSION from the sales of the month per category above.
The kiosk operator must be willing to pay Solar Kiosk a security deposit of Kshs. 80,000 (Fully refundable on exit, T&C’s apply)
Roles and Responsibilities
Operate (sell goods and services), both from the shop and on remote markets
Manage, promote and uphold SOLARKIOSK name and business
Ensure Kiosk is clean, neat, safe, secure and well maintained.
Be sole proprietor of the stock/inventory in the Kiosk at all times
Meet sales targets for the kiosk.
Market solar kiosk and it’s products
Always remit cash from goods sold.
Always use the POS in selling to ensure tax compliance and complete reporting to head office.
Always have two assistants and three sales agents in running the shop and driving sales.
Always maintain prices of goods and services as prescribed by SOLARKIOSK.
Conducting research for both product and market needs
Always communicate to SOLARKIOSK
Train the Assistants and Sales Agents
Uphold integrity at all times and compliant to rules, processes and regulations of SOLARKIOSK
Educational and Professional Requirements
KCSE Qualification (minimum grade C)
Certificate /Diploma or Degree in business related studies is welcomed.
Able to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili
Preferably able to speak local languages
Previous experience in retail sales in a shop (FMCG), supermarket, cosmetic shop etc
Available to work full time
Some working knowledge of cell phones, computers and the Internet
Preferably from the area to have an understanding of the culture, products and behavior in that community.
Mature individual with a good reputation.
Interested in “Going Green” and Renewable Energy
Open to learning new skills and growing a business
