Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Must be profoundly articulate in Gusii, English and Kiswahili languages.
Must have normal breath interval when presenting or carrying out interviews.
The incumbent must have normal talking speed so that the audience can understand him/her.
Must possess good voice projection when anchoring or doing interviews.
Must possess good research, interviewing and reporting skills.
High integrity, good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team setting.
Must have a good understanding of media law and ethics.
Should be able to quickly translate between Gusii, English and Kiswahili while on air.
Must be camera-ready and at ease in front of a camera or studio setting.

Minimum Qualifications
University degree in Mass Communication or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
At least two 1-2 years of relevant experience working as a news anchor or reporter.
