Job Specifications
Develop, review and implement policies and strategies relating to financial investment
Undertake investment planning to ensure compensation amounts to claimants are available as and when required.
Facilitate transfer of amounts required to finance activities, plans and programmes of the Fund as
contained in approved budgetary estimates in a given financial year.
Invest surplus funds in securities which for the time being trustees may by law invest in, or any other securities which the Treasury may, from time to time approve.
Advise the Managing Trustee on sound investment systems and procedures.
Mobilize internal financial resources.
Prepare and submit investment reports.
Design, monitor, supervise and implement internal
controls to safeguard the Fund’s properties and assets.
Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations; andCoordinate investment audits and ensure implementation of recommendations thereof.
Person Specifications
A Minimum period of eight (8) relevant work experience,
three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory role.
A bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
Finance, Accounts, Investment, Internal Audit or related field from a recognized Institution.
A Masters Degree in any of the following fields: Finance,
Accounts, Investment, Internal Audit or related field from a recognized Institution.
Senior Management course lasting no less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.CPA (K)
Certified Financial/Investment analysist.
Member of ICPAK in good standing.
Proficiency in computer applications
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya (2010

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates in the interviews will be required to present and satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 by providing original
copies of the following documents as an employment condition:
A certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI);
A Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
A Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Clearance certificates from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
A clearance Certificate from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) in Kenya
