Sightsavers, seeks to recruit an experienced, self-driven, dynamic and results-oriented Program Adviser who is keen to develop a career in a dynamic organisation and challenging environment.
Reporting to the Program Manager, , the incumbent will provide direct programme support on Behaviour Change & Communication (BCC) to the Coordinating Partner, Sightsavers, in Kenya Trachoma Elimination Programme funded by The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust both in terms of project planning and implementation.
They will work in close collaboration with the Trust Program Manager (Coordination) as well as implementing partners and national and county authorities on technical support, trainings, and
development of materials and documents.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Support the implementing partners with direct program support to all aspects of the F & E components of the programme .
Working with relevant national and county school authorities and local implementation partners to integrate trachoma specific messages and program elements into the school sanitation and hygiene activities
To assist in the monitoring and evaluation of ongoing F&E activities
The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan national who possesses:
Degree in the Social Sciences, Public Health or other development related field
Knowledge of behavioural change and communication programming
Field experience in working in behavior change-WASH or NTDs and advantage
Knowledge of NTDs and/or other health interventions (an advantage)
