IT Manager – Alternate Business Channels – Nairobi – Corporate Staffing Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a unique microfinance institution offering micro credit solutions, to positively transform the lives of their customers and other stakeholders.

The recently established institution seeks to hire a dynamic individual to fill the role of an IT Manager to facilitate the Alternate Business Channels.

Key Responsibilities
Software development in regard to ABC.
Ensuring proper ABC system and core banking system integration.
Product development along the ABC module.
User creation and management.
Reports configuration and data base management.
Relationship Management between the MFI and the software vendors.
Develop the ABC policy manual, job cards and user manuals.
Set up partners and train the users
Ensuring system security
Any other task as assigned
Desired experience, qualifications and skills for the IT Manager
A degree or Diploma in IT
3-5 years’ experience in developing/configuring and managing alternate channels applications such as mobile banking, agency banking, ATMs, bulk-cash management/payment.
Knowledge and experience in MS SQL, Oracle Databases
Experience in Servers, PCs, Firewalls, Switches and other related Hardware
Experience in a Core Banking System
Applying Operating System Updates, Patches and other configuration Changes
Selling and negotiation skills
Good interpersonal skills
Experience with Sacco or MFI operations is an advantage
