Junior Analyst – 160over90 – Philadelphia

Job Description
The Junior Digital Analyst will be an integral part of 160over90’s rapidly-growing analytics department. He or she will work closely with media, research, and digital teams to bring a data-driven approach and digital marketing expertise. The analyst will be able to transform large data sets into actionable recommendations and visualizations for clients. The analyst should be comfortable working with various types of digital data (including CRM, web, and social media data). A statistical background is a plus, but not required. There is tremendous opportunity to grow this high-visibility role as the department and agency evolves.

Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Visualization
Develop dashboards (generally in Google Data Studio) and ad hoc reports for both client presentations and internal use
Assist in aggregation and cleaning of data from various media platforms
Implementation of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Deploy marketing pixels (Facebook pixels, Floodlight tags, etc.)
Configure filters and goals in Google Analytics based on business objectives
Set up custom tracking to measure website engagement
Analysis and marketing strategy
Explore marketing channel performance to make strategic recommendations and optimizations
Identify opportunities for website improvements and recommend landing page experience updates
Consult clients on analytics best practices, provide insights, and help them understand how to interpret business data

Skills/Requirements
A passion for digital analytics and a desire to continue to learn is a must
1 year of experience is preferred
Experience with Google Data Studio (or other data visualization tools)
Familiar with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Experience analyzing awareness, lead-gen, and eCommerce marketing campaigns
General knowledge of paid search, display, and paid social advertising
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of descriptive statistics, data science, and modeling techniques is a plus
Highly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong excel experience (experience with Python or R a plus)
Experience in higher education a plus
