We are a non-governmental organization, supporting Furaha Community High School, a Mixed Boarding Secondary School along Kangundo Road; in Matungulu Division, Machakos County.

We offer the 8-4-4 curriculum with added life skills and mentorship to our students who are less privileged in our society.

We invite applicants to fill the post of Principal.

The Principal will be responsible for the following:-
Guiding and supervising curriculum implementation and ensuring compliance with government policies in education.
Formulating education programs and developing strategies for the implementation and maintenance of high academic standards.
Developing and maintaining high standards of discipline among students and staff.
Facilitating mentorship, induction and desirable capacity building programs for the staff.
Facilitating supervision and appraisal of staff and preparing regular appraisal reports on staff performance.
Timely preparation and presentation of School Budget for approval by the Board of Directors and monitoring expenditure.
Maintaining proper records of all meetings, policies and other relevant documents.
Perform administrative work on the day to day running of the school.
Carrying out all other duties as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time.
Applicants must be holders of a Bachelors’ degree in Education (or any other degree with a postgraduate diploma in education).

In addition, applicants must also:-
Be registered by Teachers Service Commission
Have at least 3 years’ experience in a senior management position in a Secondary school with a boarding facility
Be Computer Literate
Have Sound Leadership, Planning, Organizational and Report writing skills
Have a proven capacity to initiate the development of the school in all aspects including academic and co- curricular activities.
Demonstrate an ability to be innovative and transformative in the growth and development of the school.
