Our client in the Building & Construction Industry, specializing in building, maintenance and specialist services seeks to engage a result-oriented team-player Internal Architectural Specifier who will be expected to add value to the business by organizing, interpreting, and executing designs for projects.

Job Purpose: To prepare Architectural Ironmongery specifications for commercial buildings in Kenya.

Specific Duties
Participating in project team meetings, designs and development
Producing design drawings and procurement documents
Providing assistance in the selection and specification of interior materials
Providing hands–on technical assistance during execution of the assigned projects
Ensuring designs and selections conform to a specified project budget
Working closely with contractors on budgeting, construction details, programming and scheduling
Conducting surveys of existing conditions at project sites
Providing technical consultative to customers
Managing monthly specification reports

Desired Qualifications
A Diploma in architecture/ interior design
Four years experience in interior design / architecture
Working knowledge of the various Computer Aided Designs with proficiency in AutoCAD
High proficiency in MS Office suite
Strong verbal and written English
Exceptional customer service skills
