Overview
The Machine Operator position operates various manufacturing equipment to meet quality and production demand. Maintains processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Supports the Quality Management System (QMS). Maintains safe production of quality products. The Machine Operator will operate out of the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications
Include, but not are limited to the following:
1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
Possess strong mechanical skills
1 year working experience with Lean Manufacturing standards
Good communication and multi-tasking skills
Understand, respect and follow all safety standards
Process and detail oriented

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Bending/ Stooping
Reaching above/ below the waist
Pushing/ pulling movements

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to the following:
Start Injection Molding and Ultrasonic machinery and all necessary auxiliary equipment
Complete daily checklists for startup and calibration to maintain quality
Assist with routine mold changes and initiate cycle start-ups
Assist with routine tear-down and cleaning of equipment and parts
Perform minor adjustments to maintain quality standards and in keeping with QMS Standards
Understand machine operations and tolerances
Perform in-process and final quality checks
Assist with Preventative Maintenance, repairs, and daily maintenance for machinery
Ensure machine(s) are running with limited down time and address down machine(s) with urgency
Maintain acceptable level of scrap as directed by Production Supervisor
Maintain activity logs and downtime sheets
Maintain a culture of safety
Maintain 7S compliance in work cell
Other duties as assigned
