Background & Skills
To be considered for this position, you will need the following:
Engineering degree [ ME. or AgE preferred]
Preferred 2+ years of industry experience in developing, analyzing, and testing to validate system performance. Solid hands-on mechanical skills and experience a plus
Strong, demonstrated technical background and work experience
Excellent communicator with an interest in working across organizational lines
Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Possess strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Evaluate situations objectively and demonstrate the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance
Organize and prioritize work assignments to complete assignments/tasks on time
Ability to apply creative approaches and ideas to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources
Demonstrate flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accomplish the engineering design, development, modification or adaptation of divisional products in one or more of the following ways, depending on functional assignment:
Improves the functional capabilities of existing products.
Solves functional, applications, or production problems.
Reduces costs.
Conceives new features on new or existing products.
Stays up-to-date regarding his/her field of engineering and technology relative to Danfoss products.
Responds with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers.
Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance.
Ability to anticipate problem areas in advance.
Applies creative approaches and ideas to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources.
Demonstrates flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments.
Normal contacts include intra-departmental, inter-departmental, and customers.
Providing technical assistance to marketing, sales, and aftermarket services
Providing technical direction to drafting, manufacturing, and/or test labs.
Developing original or innovative approaches to engineering design, cost reduction and problem solving
Promoting quality and continuous improvement philosophy
