Our client is a pipe manufacturing company in Ruiru.
They focus on creating piping systems for water transportation and buildings.

They seek to hire a quality control technician to ensure that quality product is being generated.

Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming materials sampling, inspection
Perform regular in-process quality checks on products, processes and safety to ensure compliance to the required quality standard
Perform set-up inspections to establish quality criteria for each batch produced
Provide timely fault analysis reports to production department
Conduct calibration check on testing equipments
Perform quality documentation – records keeping and data entry
Perform customer compliant sampling test
Test finished products functionality or quality

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent
At least 2 year’s relevant quality inspection activities experience in a pipe manufacturing or related environment
Knowledge in plastic processes and failure mechanisms
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate technical issues and manage multiple priorities
Good reporting skills
Computer literate
