Job Summary: The Business Development Executive Banc Assurance & Affinity will be responsible for growing and managing the Banc assurance Channel by establishing relationships, ensuring acquisition of new business and retention of acquired/existing ones to achieve business targets.
The job holder will report to the Head of Banc Assurance and Affinity.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop and create partnerships with targeted organizations in order to generate Banc assurance new account sales and portfolio growth.
Act as the primary contact for Banc assurance and affinity business and communicate regularly with partners to move initiatives forward.
Ensure proper on-boarding of Banc Assurance & affinity customers.
Ensure Banc assurance financial objectives are met & exceeded by securing additional opportunities for marketing.
In conjunction with the business, design and develop new innovative insurance solutions to satisfy the current market segment.
Grow Banc assurance sales and ensure quality across multiple clients and group life products.
Monitor and manage the performance of Banc assurance clients with regards to profits, claim ratios, and standards.
Capture and analyze Banc assurance channels performance data, including customer touch point analysis.
Understand Banc assurance Partner’s goals/objectives and translate them into actionable solutions to drive profitability and partner/constituents satisfaction.
Lead, develop and implement long term customer centric sales plans for Banc assurance channel to drive new business acquisition and retention of renewal business.
Build and strengthen relationships with our Banc assurance stakeholders to maximize business return at every opportunity and ensure retention.
Constantly engage the operations teams to ensure collection of premiums and timely reconciliation of accounts held with various partners.
Prepare accurate and timely reports as required.
Gather market intelligence on competitors, market trends to identify business opportunities and contribute towards product development and customization.
Experience, Skills and Academic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a business related field
Insurance Industry professional qualification : ACII or FLMI and COP is an added advantage
A strong qualification in Sales & Marketing
A minimum of 2 years work experience in a insurance/financial services industry, 3 of which are in direct insurance sales preferably to Corporate clients
Knowledge of insurance and financial services regulatory compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
Analytical and good report writing skills
Good understanding of client needs and ability to make presentations.
