Horn Africa Consultants Firm (HACOF) is a full service consulting firm established in 2012 with the aim of providing a consultancy services in the Horn of Africa. Horn Africa Consultants Firm, was formally registered Republic of Kenya and Federal Government of Somalia in the years 2013 and 2012 respectively, as independent consultancy firm.
HACOF is a private consulting firm offering services in management, capacity building and development interventions, peace building and conflict resolution, organizational training, environment and natural resource management, M&E, media and IT to governments, private sectors, NGOs, UN agencies, civil society and organizations in the Horn of Africa region and beyond.

Job Description.
• The business development manager will work with the Director of Program and Chief Executive to devise and implement various organization strategies in related with focus of forecasts for the short and longer-term profile of HACOF’s business program.
• He/She has to follow up new business opportunities and organizing meetings with clients.
• Planning and preparing presentations.
• He/She will establish and maintain credible and meaningful working relationships to secure repeat business and longevity of client relationships.
• He/She will provide management with market trends.
• To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job.
• To contribute to HACOF’s Vision and Mission and strive to exhibit the values and behaviors at all times.
• To comply with all the law & order requirements, together with the policies and procedures of the organization.
• Developing, negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with the organization.
• He/She will develop business concept and writing proposals.
• He/She will oversee the development of new marketing initiatives of the organization.
• The business development manager will work with our partners and contacting potential partners to discover and explore opportunities.
• Ability to produce and implement organizational strategic business plans.
Qualifications
• Master degree in Business Administration, International Studies or equivalent qualification in a related field such as management, marketing or successful proven track record in marketing or business development.
• At least 5-10 years’ experience with business development or similar work will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of marketing and marketing techniques.
• Ability to develop positive relationship with all stakeholders both internal and external.
• Has strong communication skills.
• Excellent command in English language both oral and verbal.
Experience:
• Experience of preparing detailed reports and business plans.
• Experience of successfully developing good relations with clients and marketing new product and services.
• Experience of working closely with executive directors.
