Business Development Manager – WeeMedia

Responsibilities
Handling inbound queries for advertisement and content creation for digital platforms of WeeMedia – weetracker.com, gadgets-africa.com and afromaisha.com.
Reach out to active advertisers – Kenya for soliciting business via emails.
Build relations with content agencies with whom we have worked in past for repeat business.
Scout for media-partnerships with businesses for product launches and startup events.
Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.

Qualifications
2-3 years of overall marketing experience.
High-level communication skills.
Stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to negotiate.
Experience working to and exceeding targets.
