Job Summary
The Clinical Marketing Manager uses their clinical and marketing background to build and execute a strategic plan to grow our healthcare enterprise business. Must have a multi-dimensional skill set to manage clinical, sales, and market development opportunities in addition to developing enterprise business regionally and globally.
This individual will carefully analyze healthcare systems and create an executable marketing plan that resonates with c-suite executives focusing on patient safety, quality of care, cost reduction, efficiency and patient satisfaction. This individual will work closely with field organization to develop case studies that will be used for future marketing campaigns and collateral. In addition, this individual will help develop solution-based offerings that will serve as a differentiator to our hardware products. This individual will be responsible for positioning our technology and developing messaging and programs relevant in value based care.
Essential Job Functions
In conjunction with the CMO help develop and implement a healthcare enterprise strategy – i.e., targeting large hospital systems and large MD practices that focuses on value-based care and ways that the integration of ultrasound at the point of care can achieve the quadruple-AIM.
Conduct and support special initiatives and other marketing activities in healthcare enterprise.
Support the enterprise sales team with information and messaging on value-based care and integration of ultrasound at the point of care’s contribution.
Work with physician leaders to develop small data projects and case studies with that data on the value to our health system – patient safety, opioid reduction, cost savings, efficiency, etc.of the integration of ultrasound.
Create and deliver both scientific and clinical related presentations, seminars and educational programs to drive and increase sales with current and potential customers. Providing training materials for SonoSite Solutions with customers and support their implementation of these quality improvement projects.
Create presentations and business and clinical case documents for use by potential customers/physician KOLs to demonstrate the value of point of care ultrasound to the hospital c-suite.
Develop value-based messaging/articles and positioning – how does the solution, product, or program help hospitals improve outcomes and/or reduce costs or improve workflow.
Work with sales training to education sales on these messages and how and when to use them with potential customers.
Participate and develop messaging and materials in cross-company projects bring the value-based care messages – quality, cost saving, safety, etc. to the project (s)
Serves as a key liaison to key physician groups, societies and other organizations related to healthcare system stakeholders. Gain opportunities for FUJIFILM SonoSite to be a speaker, provide content, support position statement creation, etc.
Help train FUJIFILM SonoSite employees in value-based care and our healthcare enterprise strategy.
Supports related trade shows as required.
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a clinical/healthcare background (nursing or other allied healthcare field).
Master degree preferred (MBA/MSN).
4+ years of clinical practice in the medical field ideally in a hospital setting.
Experience with hospital/healthcare quality improvement initiatives highly desired.
Experience with data/conducting small research or quality improvement projects in a hospital setting.
2+ years of commercial marketing, business development or related experience preferred.
Broad experience in both strategic and tactical marketing preferred.
Experience working with PR firms and ad agencies, as well as other related service providers preferred.
Demonstrated success supporting, training, and communicating other team members
Experience within a USA based health system
Point of care ultrasound experience beneficial
International marketing experience beneficial
Skills And Abilities
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to work successfully in a highly energized environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
Must be able to quickly re-evaluate and prioritize based on changing market requirements.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to research, write reports and prepare and present presentations.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office & Google software applications.
Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time annually.
Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
