About World Animal Protection
As part of deepening understanding and awareness of animal welfare issues World Animal Protection seeks to publish two reports namely; Disaster Management and Human Wildlife Conflict and Dog Population Management. These books are a result of a previous baselines survey in various parts across the continent.
The books will be published in two formats 1) the long version and 2) the summarized version.
The scope of the work is as follows;
1. Editing the two reports to ensure they are consistent in grammar, spelling and World Animal
Protection application on language.
2. Developing a preface for sign off by the Country Director and Project partner.
3. Developing two popular versions with key highlights that will be used in meetings and as advocacy tools.
4. Developing two posters for each report to be used as info packs during meetings.
5. Retouching photos (Raw Photos to will be provided) to high quality for application in the text.
6. Redesigning the two reports to be consistent with our brand and brand guidelines.
Essential Qualifications
a) Mastery of grammar and language
b) High quality design and layout skills
c) Demonstrating functional know-how of concept development, content management and creative writing.
d) Fluency in local languages where World Animal Protection works.
Documents to be submitted:
1. Names, address, e-mail number of the firm.
2. Bio-data of the key persons of the editorial team., if any.
Submission
In response to these Terms of Reference the Consultant, is required to submit the following documents:
I. A technical bid (not more than two pages) detailing interpretation of the TOR and execution of assignment and relevant referees with their contacts.
II. A financial bid detailing the overall cost of the assignment.
Intellectual Property Rights: The product of this consultancy is World Animal Protection property. Under no circumstances will the consultant use the information resulting from this consultancy for publication or dissemination without official permission (in writing) from World Animal Protection.
