Key Purpose: To execute the staff and management training programs and assessments of franchisors and develop locally relevant content, while being energetic, motivating, articulate, patient and well-organized.
Responsibilities
Design, support, and continually improve talent frameworks, tools and resources for talent planning, performance management, and employee development.
Provide insights and recommendations on HR initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results, such as leadership development initiatives, focused high-potential initiatives, selection criteria and processes.
Champion culture and values. Act as a role model, providing leadership and coaching on an ongoing basis to team and management in outlets.
Act as the subject matter expert on talent assessment, performance management, succession planning, and strategic workforce planning.
Coordinate and conduct management training, in the stores and in a classroom environment.
Design and complete staff member assessments.
Develop training and communication materials to support talent key messages and deliverables.
Provide support for e-Learning platforms
Provide feedback to the Directors on the effectiveness of field training programs and up to date information on trainee progress to all relevant stakeholders.
Other duties as required.
This position will suit an individual with:
Degree in business or equivalent. Qualifications in training/assessments is preffered
Minimum of three(3) years of business experience in talent management, organizational development, organizational effectiveness or a related field. Experience in the retail restaurant industry will be an added advantage.
Experience in working in a retail set up is desirable
Computer literacy and fluency in English.
Sound people development acumen and experience.
Ability to translate data into compelling insights that resonate with business leaders
High work ethic, tenacious and an ability to work without close supervision.
Strong facilitation skills including an ability to confidently engage with senior leaders
Adaptability and flexibility – willing to work on a variety of projects and perform in multiple roles
Learning agility – able to learn and excel in a complex and ambiguous environment
Note: Must be prepared to work weekends and evenings from time to time.
