Country Manager – Untapped Water Kenya

Job brief
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Country Manager to help us expand our pipeline of water projects and manage our operations. You will be presenting our offer to the relevant players in the Kenyan water ecosystem to source new deals. We want to close at least 6 deals with water utilities by the end of year 2019 and you will be the one responsible for this.
The goal is to forge strong relationships with clients, to quickly understand the market and to start closing deals.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research and networking to identify relevant markets for our offer
• Arrange business meetings with utilities and water entrepreneur to present the company
• Negotiate and structure leasing deals for large water projects
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Build and manage team and suppliers executing these contracts
• Follow-up leads in a structured way

Requirements
• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
• Proven experience in the water sector and dealing with water utilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and English
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Time management and planning skills
