In liaison with the production team, the ideal candidate must lead in the effective, efficient, professional and sustainable production of selected horticulture products through the provision of sound management and skillful supervisory engagement of all farm activities and personnel in accordance with the set organization’s business goals.
He or she must have experience in the growing of brassiccas such as kales, Spinach, cabbages and other crops such as carrots, Irish potatoes and garden peas.
Conversant with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is also mandatory.
Experience in various irrigation technologies will be an added advantage.
Duties
Direct and coordinate
To motivate and inspire staff in relation to increased production
Record keeping.
Activity programming
Coordinate clerical duties
To inspect equipment and implements
Timely disease and pest management

Qualifications
A minimum of a higher Diploma in Agriculture (Crop production)
Computer literacy
Required medical adequacy with documentation
Fluency in English and Swahili
Excellent communication skills
Good management skills
Good interpersonal skills
Very high integrity
