Field Assistants – Kisumu – Impact Research and Development Organization

Job Summary: Coordinate the identification, recruitment and support for AGYW enrolled in the DREAMS Program at the Ward level.

Reports to: Program Coordinator

Location: Bondo, Ugenya, Alego-Usonga, Gem, Rarieda and Ugunja sub-counties, Siaya County

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct identification, screening and recruitment of eligible most vulnerable girls into the program.
Carry out needs assessment of individual program beneficiaries.
Provide psychosocial support to program beneficiaries and their primary caregivers.
Make appropriate and effective referrals as required by the program blue print.
Actively engage with the local community members and other stakeholders on service provision and support to program beneficiaries.
Ensure each beneficiary receives all the appropriate interventions offered by the program.
Monitor and document the progress of program beneficiaries.
Compile and submit program progress reports as required.
Support the Program Coordinator with the implementation and daily operations of the program.

Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Education, Project Management, or related field.
Must have 2 years experience of working with vulnerable children, AGYW and their families.
Training in counselling is an added advantage.
Other Competencies: Ability to multi-task; excellent communication skills and teamwork; proficient in
Microsoft Office package and ability to work under minimum supervision.
