IsraAID, an Israeli international humanitarian aid organization is looking for a Field Coordinator in Kakuma.
IsraAID Kenya is looking for a field coordinator to manage IsraAID Kenya programs in Kakuma, reporting directly to the IsraAID Kenya Country Director.

Minimum qualifications:
1. Relevant academic background in one of the following fields or any other relevant fields: Social sciences, Community development, business, management, or any other relevant field.
2. 3 years management experience in a development, disaster or humanitarian context or social enterprise.
3. Experience working in international non-governmental organizations/social innovations/government programs.
4. Responsibility, punctually, ability to deliver to deadlines.
5. Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
6. Excellent English, both written and oral.
7. Motivation and positive, pro-active attitude.
8. Experience working in a hardship area.
9. Strong writing and communication skills .
Preferred qualifications:
1. Strong interpersonal, team-leading, and team building skills.
2. Experience working in a culturally and nationally diverse team.
3. Camp experience.
The position includes but not limited to:
1. Coordination of IsraAID all Kakuma programs along with program managers, and with input from Country Director.
2. Managing logistics, bookkeeping, budgets, data collection, documentation, reporting and general administration of the programs.
3. Creating reports and reviewing all documents created in the Kakuma Sub-office.
4. Managing day-to-day and long term activities of all staff in the Kakuma Sub-office
5. Working directly with the Country Director on a daily basis.
6. Jointly leading new program implementation with the Country Director
7. Maintaining positive strong relationships with all stakeholders, through various and consistent methods of communication including, but not limited to, email, what’s app, phone calls, in person meetings.
8. Representing IsraAID at meetings with government, community members, NGOs and the UN.
9. Providing technical support to the team.
10. Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on all programs in a timely fashion.
