Who we are looking for
As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for the user interface design and development of Bnkability’s platform and website You will bring a strong creative element to the team, helping us to build solutions that delight our customers. You will help us to think critically about our users and their needs, and your technical skills will accelerate our development cycle.

We are building a remote team so you will work with people from across the continent as well as outside Africa. Different cultures, perspectives and approaches coming together to achieve a common goal.

Skills required
Experience in building complex static and dynamic browser applications, with a demonstrable portfolio of user interface design projects
Excellent UI design skills and the ability to translate these into HTML5/CSS. Preferably you will also have strong knowledge of JavaScript, and ideally have worked with TypeScript
Experience developing single page applications using a reactive framework (e.g. React, VueJS) and using RESTful APIs
Experience in Test Driven Development and development of front-end unit tests
Highly desirable skills
Proficient knowledge of modern front-end software build tools (e.g. NodeJS, NPM, SCSS, etc.)
Strong software engineering skills, including object-oriented design and an understanding of system design patterns (e.g. MVC,)
Previous experience developing enterprise SaaS
This is a part time role that will turn into a full time role later this year.
