Duties:
The Head of Translation and Interpretation Department will be responsible for:
Coordinating all Translation / Interpretation requests
Managing Translation / Interpretation Projects
Managing a team of 10 translators / interpreters
Translating documents
Revising and self-revising translations
Quoting, invoicing and monitoring payments
Marketing Translation/Interpretation Services
Qualifications:
Experience as a Translator required (at least 3 years)
Translation Degree desired
French as native language (required)
Experience in managing Translation / Interpretation project desired
PC literate
Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written & spoken)
Personal Qualities:
Good organizational skills
Detail-oriented
Strict on respecting deadlines and works well under pressure
High integrity and professionalism
Team Player with a positive constructive attitude
Flexible and ready to take on new responsibilities
Good customer relationship
Job Description:
Full time – 40 hours per week – One-year renewable contract, 3 months probation period
