Our client is recently set up international company in Kenya that specializes in supply of building materials and contracting of interior design work for high end residential and commercial projects.
They have subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Kenya is the 1st branch in Africa.
They seek to hire a HR & Admin Manager who will be responsible for development of policies, directing and coordinating human resource activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overseeing the full recruitment cycle.
Providing specialist information and guidance to employees and managers on HR policy and practice and employment law.
Managing the annual salary review process for the company.
Promoting equality and diversity in the recruitment process.
Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law.
Supporting supervisors to ensure the success of their teams.
Controlling costs and ensuring that they do not exceed budgets.
Managing pay-roll operations.
Assisting with day-to-day HR related questions.
Keeping up to date with legal developments.
Investigating disciplinary and grievance matters.
Developing HR policies and procedures.
Overseeing employee performance and evaluation.
Overseeing employee welfare.
Manage maternity leave requests and administration.
Manage labor relations with employee Unions.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Human Resource Management or in Business Administration
Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
A member of Institute Of Human Resource Management (IHRM K)
Over 5 year’s progressive experience as a Human Resource Manager, with at least 2 years in management.
Should proficiently possess technical skills, soft skills, hard skills, interpersonal and management skills;
Strong communication skills and superb inter-personal skills;
Leadership through influence and effective conflict resolution;
