Job Summary: The Human Resource Assistant will be responsible to the Head of Human Capital.
Specific duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Processing Human Resource Management issues and activities including; recruitments, appointments, promotions, placement/deployment, training and development, leave, disciplinary and staff welfare;
- Implementing and communicating human resource management decisions;
- Processing salaries, allowances, gratuity and other benefits;
- Collecting, collating, compiling and updating human resource bio data;
- Updating staff medical and other insurance schemes; and
- Drafting simple letters for daily correspondences.
Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Relations or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Relations will be an added advantage; and
- Certificate in computer application skills.
Additional Information
All shortlisted Candidates shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card, Academic and Professional Certificates and Transcripts and Testimonials.
They will also be required to obtain clearance from the following bodies.
i. Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
ii. Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC)
iii. Higher Education Loans Board (HELB); and
iv. Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
