Duties and Responsibilities
Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select best applicants ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
Staff induction and ensuring the induction form is filled in by new staffs appropriately.
Employee development and Training, Liaise with head of departments during training
Staff appraisal, Performance monitoring and documentation for all staff.
Issuance of employee contracts and renewal of probation and annual contracts.
Handling all NHIF, NSSF, PAYE
Implementing of Human Resource Policy manuals and Procedures
Staff attendance monitoring, follow up and reporting on absentees.
Overseeing shift change over supervision.
Creating and monitoring shift and leave schedules for employees.
Conducting exit interviews
Offering various HR services including advice, counseling, mentoring and coaching.
Administering safety and recreation programs.
Drafting correspondences relevant to the Human Resource Department
Administering safety and recreation programs.
Personnel Filing and record keeping.
Qualifications
Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
One year HR experience preferably in Manufacturing Industry
Good oral and written communications skills
Familiarity with Kenya labor laws
