Summary: The primary role of this position is to work closely with the respective stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of HR projects in addition to being aligned to specified account(s) to ensure implementation; compliance and risk management of HR processes and procedures at the respective locations.
This will include participating in creating project documents; communication, monitoring and reporting on Corporate initiated project.
Duties
Participate in HR transition projects across Africa.
Works closely with the Operations Site Head and/or Location HR Manager in the implementation of Corporate HR projects.
Sets up and maintains progress metrics; and status reporting on general HR matters in conjunction with the Location HR Manager.
Ensures compliance with HR processes and procedures at all respective locations.
Coordinates implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in conjunction with the Operations Site Head and/or Location HR Manager
Participates in recruitment and selection driven by corporate office for specific project, by identifying creative sources for recruiting qualified candidates through a variety of continually expanding means to include database, internet, newspaper advertising, job fairs, professional organizations, community agencies, and colleges.
Ensures timely monthly coordination of employee engagement activities for respective locations.
Coordinates the timely administration of performance management in conjunction with the
Operations Site Head and/or Location HR Manager
Key Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent course
At least 7 years’ experience in an HR management role preferably gained in BPO / shared services
Excellent interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
Must be highly organized, keen attention to detail and goal oriented.
Good at preparing and analyzing data; experience in handling project would be an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience in handling multiple projects.
Proficient in MS word, Excel and Power point.
Good understanding of labour laws for respective countries
Familiar with Performance Management process
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Ability to prepare meaningful reports
Demonstrates a sound work ethic, and is consistent and fair in making decisions
