Key Responsibilities
Ensuring appropriate Database management and administration.
Provide General IT Support that includes; documenting software and hardware changes, General Troubleshooting, Create users and general user support.
Carry out system maintenance
Ensuring systems integrity, availability and security.
Ensuring proper functioning of all systems in the Society.
Designing and production of reports.
Support IT governance including policies, performance, and Investments in ICT
Any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Providing appropriate information and guidance on emerging and best practices in ICT.
Qualifications
Diploma /Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized university.
At least 3 years’ experience as an ICT assistant or manager.
Professional qualification in Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, ISACA, or any other similar certifications are an added advantage.
Strong comprehension of ICT system and technologies.
Extensive experience in hardware and software support and management
Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle a range of systems
Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
Ability to work with teams and support them.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Unquestionable Integrity and strong ethical standards
Must be ready to provide valid certificate of good conduct from the Government of Kenya before appointment.
