Summary
The Inside Sales team is the Point of Contact (POC) responsible for ongoing business with established customer accounts. The department maintains general product Knowledge of lead-times, pricing, available inventory and/or specific manufacturing strategies. By building excellent relationships with our customers and internal team, Inside Sales proactively keeps Sales management updated on orders, deliveries, open issues and other key information gleaned from discussion with the procurement groups.
The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) will serve as the operational point of contact and leader of the Inside Sales team. You will plan, direct and balance activities of the department to meet the needs and service levels of our customers while supporting the company’s business objectives and priorities. Develop necessary procedures, establish standards to assure accurate OTC processing, and effectively manage the department’s response time and customer communications.

Establish mechanisms for leveraging customer feedback
Track and evaluate individual and team performance results against defined objectives
Recognize and reward excellence of individuals and/or teams
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent analytical skills
BA/ BS degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years management experience in Distribution, Sales, Account Management or Inside Sales
Solid knowledge of supply chain industry and Order to Cash (OTC) processing
Experience in the use of ERP systems, especially SAP
Advanced knowledge of Trade and Export compliance requirements
Salesforce knowledge beneficial
