The incumbent will be tacked with the following duties & responsibilities;
Roles & Responsibilities:
Reviewing of the HSEQ Documents in line with the company business
Adapting safe systems of work to company’s business needs
Developing of risk assessments & conducting compliance audits.
Monitoring and upgrading of safety equipment.
Inspecting Company HSE systems to ensure compliance to a level meeting current best practice and exceeding that of competitors.
Promote awareness and improvement in implementing HSE standards.
Training & ensuring employees are understand & adhere to safety programs
Ensure compliance with existing legislation & Monitoring future changes in legislation for impact on the company.
Coordinating with all locations to ensure accident, environmental incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective action taken.
Promoting & Inculcating a safety culture if field staff
Coordinating the acquisition and issuance of personal Protective equipment and ensuring proper usage by Operational staff
Coordinating training in fire-fighting, safety awareness and first-aid statutory inspection of lifts, lifting Equipment and pressure vessels
Investigating workplace accidents and coordinating preventive measures
Qualifications
Degree/ Diploma in relevant field
At least 2 years experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry
Knowledge in Hospitality industry (Added advantage)
