Job Purpose: The incumbent shall administer individual and corporate sponsored schemes as per the set policy and procedure guidelines.
He/she shall be the intermediary between trustees and the members of the schemes to ensure that the schemes are run and supervised well and to liaise with the respective service providers on the day to day running of the Retirement Schemes in accordance with the Retirement Benefits Authority Act
Job Responsibilities
Liaising with the Trustees, RBA, KRA and other relevant service providers to ensure that the schemes are compliant at all times.
Send notifications to employers contributing to the pension scheme on a monthly basis to ensure that the contributions made to the pension’s scheme are up-to-date.
Preparation of management reports (New Business Quotations/ Proposals, Funds Received and Withdrawals)
To plan for and attend Trustees meeting and AGM
Managing of client’s enquiries and complaints.
Receipting of all contributions and allocating to respective members
To avail data required by the relevant service providers to enable preparation of statutory returns to RBA
To provide up to date management reports on monthly basis and periodically as required.
To underwrite the new business and provide annuity quotations
Weekly accounts/ contributions reconciliations with Finance
Preparation of the schemes draft accounts
Qualifications.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance / Banking / Business Management / Commerce (Finance, Accounting), Actuarial Science
Relevant Work Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a Pension Administration capacity.
