This position is on a permanent and pensionable basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall supervision over supplies and utilities.
Purchasing and maintenance of office supplies.
Processing of requisitions and orders from user departments.
Assist user departments in development of specifications for required items.
Prepare the annual supplies schedule.
Administer contract performance including delivery, receipt, damages and warranties.
Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies
Comply and maintain knowledge of rules, standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
Maintain good supplier relationships.
Prepare tender evaluation reports.
Facilitate tender adjudication
Any other duties, which may be assigned by the Finance and Administration Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
K.C.S.E Grade C (plain) or its approved equivalent.
2 years’ of relevant working experience.
Should possess negotiation and communication skills.
Good working knowledge of computers and accounting software applications.
