Job Summary
the Program Coordinator will report the Care Nederland Program Coordinator for Latin America, Asia and the Horn of Africa. The incumbent will work closely with the finance specialist on budget and financial issues related to the different projects. The Program coordinator duties will be Proposal development, coordination and management of projects; quality promotion, advice and support; policy development and annual operating plan; private fundraising and information and donor relation amongst other duties. The ideal candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or its equivalent; a at least three years relevant field experience preferably in fragile countries; experience in project management in a development or transition context; experience with institutional donors; affinity with financial project management; fluent in Dutch and keen understanding of Dutch ministry of Foreign affairs and its tender requirements.
