Qualifications
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution;
Certificate of Registration by Clinical Officers Council;
Valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council;
Certificate of Computer Application Skills from a recognized
Responsibilities
Taking history, physical examination, diagnosing and treating the patient; Common ailment at an outpatient or inpatient health facility;
Implementing Community care activities in liaison with other health workers;
Guiding and counselling patient, clients and staff on the health issues;
Sensitizing patients and client on preventive and Promotive health;
Mentoring other health workers and students attached to respective departments;
Carrying out minor surgical procedure as per the training and skills;
Collecting and compiling clinical data;
Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities; and
Performing other duties assigned by their supervisor
Terms of Service: Three (3) years. Contract.

Salary, allowances and other benefits are per the rates prescribed by the salaries and remuneration commission.
