In preparation for Samasource’s next phase of growth, we are searching for a seasoned and committed Senior-Human Resource Coordinator.
The role provides guidance and support in talent management, performance management, staff development and training, succession planning, data-sourcing and special HR Projects, to ensure efficient-delivery of services to the center management and various end-users.
In addition, the Senior HR Coordinator will contribute to the development & execution of operational HR Policies, Procedures and Systems.
You will serve as a key partner to the Director of Human Resource and reporting directly to this role.
Key Responsibilities
Provides input to HR policy and procedure formulation, implement, interpret and ensure effective and proactive communication on policies, procedures and systems.
Support in the development of a robust and effective on-boarding and induction that promotes a learning culture within the Center, as well as separation programs, and follows through on feedback.
Coordinates Talent acquisition and placement as required.
Provides assistance in data analysis on HR statistics such as job-classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed by the HR Director.
Supports in the dissemination of outcomes of Center Management decisions on performance evaluation, in close consultation with the HR Director.
Supports the end-to-end Organization training and coordinates staff individual education support.
Undertakes training needs assessments as necessary, monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions, and documents and discusses the outcomes with the HR Director.
Support in the preparation of management reports including but not limited to; Training analysis, Recruitment analysis and Headcount Report
Assists in systems implementation of HR projects
Support in managing the Exit Interview process and in collating feedback for appropriate implementation.
Manages complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, so as to maintain good employee relations.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Sociology or a related field plus Diploma in Human Resources.
4+ Years’ experience in a Sr.HR Officer role.
Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions
Good understanding of employment legislation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Robust business and HR acumen.
Sound knowledge of HR best practices.
Technologically proficient in use of technology to communicate effectively & professionally.
Excellent analytical and data management skills.
Results oriented and strong attention to details.
Passionate, highly self – motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player
Preferred Qualifications
Working with HRMIS.
Qualification in Higher National Diploma in HR is desired.
