Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Kenya Program seeks a Senior Officer – Supply Chain.

Job Summary: The Senior Officer – Supply Chain provides functional leadership to ensure sound procurement and logistics systems, performance and coordination providing Country Office programs and teams with optimum support.

S/he provides functional leadership to ensure sound logistical systems, performance and coordination providing Country Office programs and teams with optimum support.

In addition, the post holder is responsible for the strategic management of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS)supply chain function, for the Kenya Country Program (CP), East Africa Regional Office (EARO) ,other CPs in the region and the Emergency Response Team (HRD) to ensure that all programs and operations obtain goods and services when required.

S/he will be responsible for procurement planning, monitoring the implementation of supply chain policies including ensuring compliance with CRS policy and statutory legislation and provide oversight over contract Management.

S/he will compile procurement reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
BA/BSc Degree in supply and purchasing management or related field such as (logistics), from recognized institution.
At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Membership in a professional purchasing organization such as CIPS is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English
Proven ability to prepare reports and maintain complete files and records.
Experience working on USAID projects strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in coordination and collaboration with a broad set of stakeholders, including multi-lateral and international donors, Government, and local and international NGOs.
Excellent English language (oral and written) communication skills required.
Ability to serve with integrity, model stewardship and cultivate constructive relationships
