Job Description:
The Shop Manager is responsible for managing the total operation of their assigned store and supervising the store and employees
S/he will generate sales through their team, perform outstanding customer service, and maximize profits by controlling expenses
Keep inventory, protect and take responsibility of all company assets
Monitor staff attendance and prepare work schedules
Achieve set individual monthly sales targets
Ensuring all staff adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures
Managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures
Report on buying trends, customer needs, daily sales etc
Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
Monitor and manage the cleanliness of the store
Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements and Experience
Undergraduate degree
1-2 years key holder responsibility in a supervisory role in a service-oriented/retail environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Computer literate – MS Office
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
People management skills
Must be completely reliable
Should have professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
Able to work long hours per week including evenings and weekends
These positions require moderate physical effort.
Some unpacking and packing of materials is required when restocking the floor supplies.
There may be moving and setting up of displays and other events taking place in your location.
At counters, one must stand nearly 8 hours.
