Job Purpose: Managing the company’s Supply Chain Planning Processes by ensuring consumer demand is always met and by optimising the company’s inventory through effective Demand & Supply Planning as well as ensuring timely delivery of material from the company’s suppliers to the company designated storage points in order to meet company requirements through efficient and effective metrics and monitoring tools.

4. Key Accountabilities:
Demand Planning
Generate current and future Demand Plans using statistical forecasting techniques
Engage key stakeholders in sales within the Business Units
Achieve Consensus in adopting Demand Plans
Make recommended adjustment on forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
Prepare and report on forecast and inventory measures
Generating monthly sales operational Plan
Lead monthly forecast review meeting with sales and marketing Managers.
Maintain Master Data elements for ERP for Inventory & Planning
Deploy Demand & Supply Planning processes that meet company requirements
Supply Planning
Generate accurate monthly Supply Schedules for Finished Goods, Raw & Pack Materials
Communicate Supply Plans to all stakeholders internally and externally
Synchronise Supplier promise dates to Supply Plans that meet the company’s strategic objectives
Manage plan achievement by ensuring adherence to set plans and producing monthly reports to highlight non adherence and taking time-bound steps with relevant departments to reduce shortage of product or materials.
Develop and maintain a business relationship with critical suppliers for materials
To continuously evaluate ERP performance to support Supply Chain Planning processes and if necessary design changes to cater for changing business needs
Reporting
Produce accurate and timely reports in accordance with the Supply Chain Metrics framework.
Other Duties
Execute other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time as assigned by your supervisor.
5. Application of Guidelines & Decision Making Authority
Guidelines:
The Supply Chain Planning executive may not sell product or services below the established discount limits.
Must follow the company’s policies, procedures and ethos.
Cannot partake in any activities which would be deemed as a conflict of interest in their role with the company.
Must not participate in serious misconduct as this will lead to termination of employment
Where there is a dispute between yourself and a team member, customers or suppliers this is to be referred to your manager at the earliest instance.

6. Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
B. Com/Business/Economics / Operations/Supply Chain or equivalent
Additional professional qualification in Supply Chain will also be considered e.g. CSCP, CPIM
Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
Minimum Experience:
At least with at least 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Function especially in Planning Roles
